ONLY GENUINE KENLOWE FANS FEATURE A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF:-

AXIAL FAN
Advanced curved multi blade axial fans cleave the air to ensure maximum performance with reduced amperage and lower noise. Kenlowe fans are staticly and dynamically balanced.

  STATOR VANES
As in aircraft jet turbine engines Kenlowe 10" and 13" fans feature stationary "stator vanes" to maximise airflow by directing the fans rotating air, through the radiator core. Stator vanes significantly improve air pressure resulting in greater exit volume which is what the heat travels away from the radiator on! Stator vanes are particularly advantageous in overcoming the resistance to air of dense or thick radiators used in 4X4's, classic cars, competition vehicles and significantly, vehicles with air-conditioning secondary condenser radiators or even oil coolers which can otherwise compromise a fans cooling performance.

SEALING RING
Kenlowe fans feature ring ducts that seal to the radiator face to eliminate any gap through which fan performance could bypass the radiator. Air leaked away is cooling lost and only airflow that passes through the radiator will carry heat away!

DC ELECTRIC MOTORS
Kenlowe motors are continuously rated and permanent magnet, suitable for negative or positive earth cars and equally efficient for blower and suction fan rotation. Motors are weather proof and suitable for off road vehicle use including fording and wading involving steep approach angle entry to riverbeds.

ADJUSTABLE AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE
CONTROL

The in water sensor ensures optimum sensitivity and fast response to rapid temperature changes. Adjustable over a wide range (55°C - 120°C) to enable fine tuning of fan cut in temperature to ensure compatibility with all engine thermostat operating temperature bands. (External sensors and nonadjustable controls can fail to respond fast enough to temperature rise and can conflict with many engine thermostat temperature ranges). The unique Kenlowe moulded silicone seal works with the existing radiator hose to enable the sensor to fit without cutting the hose or drilling the radiator, as shown diagrammatically. The Kenlowe temperature control features a tight differential of only 3°C between cut in and cut out temperature and in keeping with a component that is at the very heart of therm electric engine cooling has an enviable record of reliability and durability established over many years.

MOUNTINGS
For simple DIY mounting, Kenlowe fans come as standard with an easy to use advanced clamping system, ensuring that the stationary plastic ring duct seal to the radiator to avoid any loss of efficiency due to an air leakage gap. The easy DIY mounting has an adjustable ratchet system that clamps the fan in place on single or twin radiator applications without drilling, spanners or special tools. (i.e. vehicles fitted with air-conditioning or intercooler). The simple to use, advanced clamping system is recommended for the majority of applications where the installation is completed by a handyman. For technical reasons suction 13" fans are supplied with FBM fan to body easy to fit mounting as standard at no extra cost! OPTIONAL fan to body mountings (FBM) are available for professional or enthusiast fit at extra cost. State single fan to body mountings part number KLM2116 or KLM2128 for twin fan systems. (Single fan to body mountings (FBM) incorporate two infinitely adjustable mountings with 4 point swivel connecting joints as diagram. Twin fan to body mountings (FBM) have a plated steel frame to join up both fans with adjustable side connecting outriggers to secure the twin fan system to vehicle presswork as illustration).

OPTIONAL FACIA INDICATOR LIGHT AND MANUAL SWITCH
As with vehicles fitted with an electric fan as standard the Kenlowe fan is fully automatic, however as an additional facility Kenlowe offer a 'fan-on' indicator and combined manual override switch as an extra cost option. This is offered for the enthusiast, as installation requires the wiring to pass from the engine compartment to the interior via the bulkhead and fire wall. It may be mounted in its under dash panel or into the facia as required - specify part number KLM0570.
